About the Event
At this concert, you will hear one modern iconic work, one piece by one of today's leading contemporary composers, and one piece by one of Europe's young composers. The program reflects the quartet's long history with lines that point both to the great masters through today's most important composers and to the new generation. With a wealth of different perspectives, sonic riches, and musical languages, the quartet shows you some of the roots, new shoots, and potential of contemporary music.
Notspur is the winner piece of “Pablo Sorozabal” International Composition Competition for String Quartet.
