About the Event
REQUIEM FOR A STAR. Sigurd Hole composes new music for the double bass and a string quartet inspired by his fascination with the starry sky and invites you to a concert/laboratory at Sørum Gård.
Together with the Cikada String Quartet, Sigurd Hole explores various musical ideas from the work and shares insights into the process of creating new music together.
There will be an opportunity to purchase drinks (non-alcoholic) and light snacks.
Welcome to an exciting evening of astronomical musical antics in the barn at Sørum Farm!
PS: If the sky is clear, there may be a short guided tour of the universe by the composer—with a telescope—after the concert for those who are interested!
