About the Event
John Cage would have turned a hundred years September 5th this year, the composer who opened our ears for sound and silence in entirely new ways. In this program Cikada String Quartet plays an excerpt from his String Quartet in Four Parts from 1950. This is framed by string quartets by Witold Lutoslawski and Hans Abrahamsen.
